Katrina left a little while ago. Had a nice walk at McDowell Creek Park. I charged along like a crazy woman. I had no idea I was capable of charging these days. But I did, and it felt grand until the very end when I had to pee and couldn't think of anything else. Spot went along. He is now conked out on the cot. It was good for him. :-p Been a long time since he has been out on a walk and he did quite well. He even went up to a fairly large dog and sniffed noses before deciding to bush up and arch up.

Very, very sleepy now though. I want to sleep in tomorrow morning.

Also, my iPod's battery seems to be draining in no time at all. This makes me sad.

Well, thanks to God I did get a lot done today and I feel good knowing I'm finished with the most important stuff now. Need to get out chairs for everyone. We are now having 11 people here tonight. Glad I made 2 dozen muffins. Well, there are 22 left now. Enough for everyone to have one and some to have two.

Thought I'd also make popcorn and cut up some apples or something if people want them. But that's it.

I also got the rest of the peaches in the freezer, vacuumed, got the living room cleaned up, and made soup and rice for tomorrow's lunch.

Now I'm going to install Snow Leopard.

Well, I would have utterly forgotten about it being St Patrick's Day if it were not for my 5.30a data entry.

We are both wearing green (sort of) and we'll have potatoes for dinner. That's about as celebratory as we'll get since I hardly planned ahead.

Now, on to more techy things. While I really dislike the Kindle (it is tactile-y displeasing to me, both because of my small hands and because, well, it just is clunky), I am really, really excited that there is an iPhone app where Amazon will let you sync with your Kindle, if you have one, or use the iPhone instead of the Kindle. WOOHOO.

I'm not sure how much cheaper it is to buy books that way. And I'm not hugely into reading on a mobile device, honestly, but for travelling it sure would be nice to have it all on the iPod rather than carting twenty books around that I usually don't end up reading anyway because they're buried somewhere. I love having the Bible on the iPod. I almost never use my real Bible now.

Something to think about, anyway.
