Molly is slumbering peacefully in her bouncy chair while I lie here. I hope she's warm enough because I'm actually on the chilly side. Next time Dan wanders by the door I shall ask him to turn on the heater, unless I get up to go to the bathroom or something and can do it myself. I'm thoroughly enjoying being lazy today... for now. Can't guarantee I will not become super bored in a couple hours, though. Contemplating watching White Christmas... I think... I think I will. Then I will be up to turn on the heater, too.

"White Christmas"? My nephew told me the other day that his 2-year-old daughter watches that DVD every night, has watched it so many times that she now sings and dances all the way through it.

Kids! Eventually they become so much fun!

It's a wonderful movie, and I love it! It's kind of funny, though, aside from the theme song which is ingrained into our culture, my favorite song is "I Fall Asleep Counting My Blessings." The first time I heard ol' Bingle singing that, I felt -- well, I felt God reminding me to "count my many blessings," as another song says. And every time I watch the movie, I just weep like a girly girl through that whole song.

Life can be very hard, but God is always so very good!


Of course, then there's "Sisters"!
