Just went to the new library for the first time.
Positives:
1. It is MUCH larger and more spacious - taller ceilings.
2. The nonfiction section is more defined (as in there are now spaces between all the various subjects, so it is MUCH easier for the naked eye to detect the gardening section, cooking section, and travel section for instance.
Negatives:
1. If they have A/C, it was definitely not on. It was really stuffy in there.
2. I didn't really feel there was that much out on the shelves that wasn't already in the other building. I had been given the impression that they had a basement full of books at the old building that would be added to the collection...
I wandered around for a long time desperately seeking SOMETHING that looked interesting by an author I've never read. Which, you know, is difficult sometimes.
