I'm a tad sceptical of the cake that is currently baking. Of course, I made a double recipe, which was such a stupid thing to do on something I haven't tried before, but that would be typical Me. I don't think it will be inedible. I do think it will be a tad ODD.

Bet it won't be as odd as the cake I had the other day. It was made out of polenta. POLENTA. Banoffee polenta cake, no less.

Uh-huh. Some fat-free nonsense. It was actually really nice, and like springy and cakey! Well, when it was fresh at least. The leftovers went a bit soggy and weird after a night in the fridge, and the older it was it tasted more like polenta and less like banoffee.
