verity83I've managed to get a batch of bread underway, dust, clean the bathroom counter (a never-ending job lately because somebody with paws tracks water spots all over it, which dry and leave mineral splatters...), and now I'm in the middle of doing dishes. Oh, and I burned three discs.
I enjoy my job.
Goal for this afternoon: try to finish the book I started and get some more drawing done.
I might mention that today and yesterday Spot behaved like a rabid dog on his leash when we were walking. He is a very stiffnecked and rebellious cat and rolls and mews and won't walk. He must be in kitty teenagedom.
He walks fine when we go on hike-type walks. Why can't he walk around the block? I don't get it.
Eventually I won the battle and he did walk for about half the walk. I took him around some detours to make up for the time we wasted at the outset getting him to just... move.
I also saw a beautiful orange cat curled up by a house. He was darker than Spot, with more markings, but had a lovely face, despite the fact that he was glaring at me. I think Spot did not see him.
