This is just about my favourite picture of Barbara Stanwyck ever and one of the few icons I'm still using in this journal that I made whilst I was still
roses_for_ann. It just embodies all excitement in such a tiny picture. Perfection.
2.
James Cagney and George Raft in "Each Dawn I Die", part of this set I made some time ago. The bond between the two characters is one that never fails to move me. Leave it to a prison movie. "We Carry On" is the name of a country song I was into around that time.

Since making this icon, I have come to realise that it is not, in fact, a mandolin Ronald Colman is playing here, but the keyword is and ever will be "ronniemandolin". It is such a peaceful, contemplative picture to me and I use it often. From the lost silent movie "The Magic Flame", if I remember correctly. <3
4.
Rosey is one of the lead characters in the (now, sadly, dusty) Adventures of Firefox. AKA - ME.
5.
paularidgeway found this one, a quote from "Pirates of the Caribbean". It is so... useful. Because weirdness abounds.
